2008 Show Schedule

January 19th - March 8th: Gary Scroggs and Babs Steward. Oil on canvas and pastels on paper are featured in this show. Opening Reception: 19th. 7pm - 10pm.

March 15th - May 3rd: Gallery 26 presents the work of Jennifer Heimbaugh, Marcus McAllister and Steven Wise. Jennifer shares her unique photographic vision of chic southern gothic women bathed in deep rich colors and erotic dispositions. Marcus returns to Little Rock from Paris with paintings from his newly inspired portrait series, using the faces of friends and strangers alike as a basis to explore his own sense of self. And Steven Wise continues his Alpha/Beta project with a series of small paintings on board. Opening Reception: March 15th. Reception Pictures

May 10th - July 12th: "Famous Last Words" Brad Cushman and Katherine Strause. Brad Cushman presents his new body of work inspired by UFO tattoos, professional wrestling and 1970's television shows. Katherine Strause shares her paintings based on discarded photographs found at an estate sale of a life lived and now fading from our collective memory. Opening Reception: May 10th. July 19th - September 13th: Robert Bean and Holy Moore. People tell stories. It's a way of communicating, of learning and laughing and living. Stories can cast illumination on the world that was, give a glimpse of the world that could be, or even a world that never really existed. In this new body of works, artists Robert Bean and Holly Reding use the idea of story as a point of departure in their creations. Mr. Bean works primarily on canvas and paper, using acrylics, pastels and graphite for his creations. Mrs. Reding works on wood panel and paper, utilizing acrylics, gouache and graphite.

September 20th - November 1st: Sean Moorman, Ila Alvarez-Hallmark and Valerie Wingert. Opening Reception: September 20th. 7pm - 10pm.

November 15th - January 10th 2008: Annual Holiday Show and Sale: 50+ artists show a variety of work including jewelry, paintings, drawings, pottery, ornaments, sculpture, photographs, ect. The biggest show extravaganza of the year! Great hand made gifts. Opening Reception: November 15th. 7pm - 10 pm
